Transitioning to Green Forum

The Transitioning to Green™ Forum is our flagship, one-day program. The next Forum will be held on Friday, April 22, 2010.

The Forum consists of:

• An online Transitioning to Green™ Career Self Assessment to be completed upon signing up, and prior to the one-day program, including aspirations, interests, skills and capabilities.


• A customized Transitioning to Green™ package of potential career paths and options linked to the individual’s specific profile results from the online self assessment.  This package will be  provided to participants at the beginning of the one-day program

• A highly interactive and unique one-day learning event of engaging with subject matter experts (SME’s) in sustainability that focuses on bridging jobs and careers into a new Green Economy

• An introductory overview of sustainability from thought leaders and experts

Highlights of the Forum are:

Charting Transitioning to Green™ - Dynamic interactive table exercises, facilitated by sustainability SME’s, depict the grey economy and new green economy. These journey maps help everyone understand the seismic transformation that is occurring, provide deep learning and knowledge in a fun and creative way, and enable everyone to begin to find their place in the larger context of this transformation.

Transitioning to Green™ Industry and Functional Expertise - Participants have the opportunity to meet with and learn from one or several industry specific Subject Matter Experts, who will be leading table discussions on such industries and functions as green building, green manufacturing, telecommunications, health care, pharmaceuticals, greening of IT, finance, human resources, supply chain, environmental health and safety, corporate social responsibility, communications and media, and more.
