
Sustainability Action Learning Program (SALP)
Although many corporate leaders today have heard about sustainability generally, they may not yet have had the time to take a serious look at their corporate strategies and operations from a sustainability perspective, and develop sustainability-related plans for their company's future success.
Through Transitioning to Green's Sustainability Action Learning (SALP) program, business leaders/managers get that opportunity. They are guided through a highly efficient sustainability self-assessment process that puts the company leaders and employees in a position to significantly improve their financial, employee, social and environmental performance while increasing sustainability.
SALP consists of Four 1-day Corporate Self-Assessment Workshops

Transitioning to Green Expert Trainers work with participant companies to train and self-assess several core areas of risk and opportunity. Then they work to develop a roadmap of practical next step actions that save energy, reduce waste, implement lean and efficient operating practices, and engage and communicate their sustainability initiative with employees and stakeholders.

The following are highlights of curriculum and action learning activities that are included within a self-assessment action learning workshop events. The program content is customized for clients needs.
Day 1: Self-assessment Orientation, Sustainability Vision, Context and Culture
Session 1: Action Items and between session homework: the company team members assemble relevant information, background documents and operating data to use in the workshops.
Day 2: Strategy and Opportunities Self-assessment
Day 3: Element Selection, Employee and Stakeholder Engagement and Self-assessment
Day 4: Risk and Business Case Analysis and Co-Create Roadmap Report
